I am on the 3 to
gorebridge (yes longstone drivers do use the site) some punter (customer)
decide's to smoke his joint upstairs at the rear of the bus ( would you
beleive it ) any way rains hitting off the road all the windows are closed,
the smell is stinking the bus oot, i stop and go upstairs and ask the customer
who has just enjoyed his joint to depart the bus or wait on ra polis, i head
back to the saftey of my cab to 'well done driver' and if his mates kick off
we will back you up from two blokes, any how the punter (customer) decides
he'd rather face the polis (or was it the other customers) who where getting
held up that made his mind up for him.
After friday
night it raised the following points, customers willing to back driver the
company buys vehicles with all the goodies, cameras, mics, advertises it on
said vehicles 'will prosecute all offenders' but the only cases i have read
have been against drivers not customers they break rules we the driver sort
it out and get a 'come and see me' for leaving the cab which most customers
expect. The system should be used for iding the wrong doer and prosecuting
instead of against the driver
