Genuine Sickness      

Well here we are again, ive just heard that one of our collegues who was off sick with a genuine illness for a few weeks came back to get TWO "please explains" and then had to sit in front of the outgoing ASS manager of marine depot and explain why he couldn't come to his work for ten weeks because his skin was falling off in chunks and was dopped up to his eyeballs with skin tablets! Now call me daft but this man was signed off his work by a registered doctor he was even pronounced totally unfit by the COMPANY DOCTOR so why do the management think they can get away with giving this man , who came back to work early because he was told by the head manager that he was going to lose his job if he didnt ,  a bloody written warning? now I have spoken to this driver and he said that the union rep, spoke up for him (about bloody time ) but to no avail and the ASS manager , didnt come out and say it, but reading between the lines was meaning " no!
no matter what your health is like you MUST come to your work. I saw this driver a few weeks into his illness when he was summoned into the office for his customery " never mind take yer time speech" and he was covered from head to toe in bloody (as in covered in blood) bandages and he looked like he was stoned, so how the fuck was he meant to come to his work like that ????    This company is fucked up brothers and sisters so watch your backs they are filling the garages up again with new drivers so it will soon be time to weed out the undesireables ....Watch and see!
