Cones do have a hard time. I remember once years ago on the run up to Gillespie crossroads on the 44s they hadn't left enough space for a lane either side for larger vehicles to get through the roadworks so we all had to play tiddlywinks with them to move them over a bit,and then do it again on the way back down. Poor b'stards. To just have to sit there,in all weathers, get stacked on top of one another whether they are your friends or not(imagine that someone else's nose just shoved up your arse then yours up someone else's),then to be hit by passing vehicles on a whim or just by poor driving. I think that it takes a special inner strength just to carry on. Let's all stand and clap in appreciation of all things conal. I won't cos I'm in the library. But I will later... (7/02/08)
